Friends of Wavell
The Friends of Wavell comprises of a dedicated committee of Parents, Staff and Governors who meet three times a year and work to raise extra funds for school resources, in particular the lease and maintenance of the School Mini bus which is used for many of the trips and extra-curricular activities.
As a registered charity we raise funds by organising events such as Quiz Nights, Fashion Shows and providing refreshments at Parents' Evenings. These events are great ways to meet other parents, support the School and have fun.
If you are interested in becoming a committee member, help out at one of the events, donate raffle prizes or help with the refreshments at Parents' Evenings please email us at admin@wavell.hants.sch.uk. We would also love to hear from any businesses that may be able to help with sponsorship.

Annual Voluntary Contribution
Ten years ago we launched our Annual Voluntary Contribution (formally School Covenant)which has proved to be invaluable for the continued provision of extra services, especially the lease for the mini buses.
The suggested donation of £30 per family per year can be split over 3 terms.
In order to contribute, please complete a Gift Aid declarationso that we can reclaim the tax on each donation. Details for payment can be found below. Payments should be made by cheque, payable to 'Friends of Wavell' or via BACS.

Charity Textile Bin
We now have a Charity Textile Bin located on the school site in support of Friends of Wavell.
Students, if they can manage, can drop bags off at the Textile Bin, before registration on any day. If you have extra large quantities to deliver please email admin@wavell.hants.sch.uk and we will facilitate a drop off.
Second Hand Uniform
**Our next Second Hand Uniform Sale is being held on Tuesday 26th March 2024**
This year we have raised over £800 for Friends of Wavell through sales of Second Hand Uniform via our Second Hand Uniform Facebook Group and sales. We welcome donations of good quality

Rushmoor Community Lottery
We are delighted that we have been recognised as the second best performing fundraiser for the Rushmoor Community Lottery. We are very aware that in the current economic climate, finding the money to support causes such as ours is very difficult so we would like to thank each and every one of you who continue to support us in this way.
