Women in STEM Day

I’m incredibly grateful for the amazing opportunity to attend the Women in STEM Day at Fluor. It was a truly eye-opening and empowering experience that I will never forget. The event was packed with engaging educational activities, thought-provoking challenges, and powerful stories from women who have paved the way in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
One of the most memorable parts of the day was getting the chance to interview several inspiring women who have built successful careers in STEM, despite the challenges of working in a field that is still predominantly male. Hearing about their journeys, their struggles, and how they overcame obstacles to achieve their goals was inspiring, and showed the strength and resilience that it took to get to the positions they are in today.
Being part of the group that was invited to attend felt like a privilege. We were all inspired by the speakers who generously shared their time, experiences, and advice. They highlighted the critical need for diversity in STEM and the importance of supporting one another along the way.
