As part of this I have been able to travel across the UK visiting clients and even spent a week in Spain carrying out a client workshop. This is a picture from our office balcony :)!

From September I will be doing a degree apprenticeship for IBM in digital tech solutions doing software development, coding and tech sales. This is a 3 year degree apprenticeship also based in London.

Bethan Hoggan

A brief update..."I've finished college (I studied German, Politics and Early Modern/Medieval History) and I've firmed my top choice for university as University  College london (UCL) where I should (hopefully!) study European Social and Political Studies, which is essentially a philosophy/history and international politics degree, with a major  in German and a minor in Mandarin. I'm still at NCB as a Young Research Advisor and I'm still a Member of Youth Parliament. I also now volunteer at a Rainbows group. Carys and I also got the news today that we're going to be speaking to the Treasury about the importance of funding for education and youth services. I also gave evidence to the House of Commons' Education Select Committee on my experience  of education during COVID, and I've been nominated for two national awards in the past year. Basically, it's been a whirlwind. I'm also extremely lucky to have won the Zonta Award's Young Women in Public Affairs Award on the district level and placed third on a district with over 1700 members  from countries including the UK, France, Russia and Guadeloupe.

Carys Hoggan

"After finishing studying Medieval History, German and English Literature (as well as teaching myself Psychology A Level), I will go to the University of Oxford to study Psychology and Linguistics at St Hilda's College, should I get the grades. The combined course is perfect for me as it combines my love for languages with my love for psychology and sociology, as well as my passion to make this word a better place. I hope to complete a few internships too in the holidays, especially if they're in different countries! From university, I don't know what I'll do but I hope to combine the two fields to possibly specialise in psycholinguistics during masters or go on to psychiatry with that specialism and complete a doctorate, it depends on what interests me at university!"

Kathryn Austin now studying A levels raised a lot of money Braving the Shave for MacMillan Cancer.

She donated 24 inches of hair to the Little Princess Trust, so we hope at least one little girl will have a natural hair wig to wear soon.

Money raised is still being counted but stands confirmed at over £1,100. That's more than enough to provide full time care of a Macmillan Nurse for a week.

Below are before and after photos. Naturally, the support of best friends, who helped with the restyle was essential!
