Bingo Night Brings Community Spirit to Wavell

Wavell School’s Bingo Night on Friday 14th November 2025 delivered exactly what everyone hoped for: a full house, plenty of laughs, and some very competitive dabbers.

 The undisputed star of the evening was Mrs Freke, whose natural flair as bingo caller, brought the room alive as she guided the evening with confidence, humour, and perfect pacing. The attendees of all ages threw themselves into the games, celebrating wins and groaning at near-misses!

Special appreciation also goes to all the committee volunteers who gave up their Friday evening to help run the event with energy, kindness, and teamwork raising £360 for our Friends of Wavell charity.

The event captured the kind of fun, inclusive spirit Friends of Wavell are keen to build on — and judging by Friday’s turnout and the feedback received we are looking forward to many more successful nights together in the future.
