An Incredible Open Evening
On Thursday 9th October 2025 our school was absolutely buzzing — over 700 visitors joined us to experience everything Wavell has to offer! From busking and drumming to bush tucker trials and balloon modelling, there was laughter, excitement and pride everywhere you looked.
As always, our student tour guides were simply outstanding — welcoming, knowledgeable and full of the Wavell Way.

Myself and my husband wanted to pass on our thanks ...... We were so impressed by Mrs Wright’s clear commitment and obvious care for the school and its pupils ...... the prefects we had to show us around were so helpful and did such an amazing job.
Many congratulations to you all for doing a fantastic job of showcasing your school . Our son is so excited at the thought of hopefully joining you in September for his next chapter.
