Literacy at the Wavell
Good literacy skills are essential for your child’s future success.
At the Wavell, we work to ensure that students learn and use these skills across the whole curriculum, not just in English but also in PE, History, IT, Maths and Art, to name but a few . At GCSE, accurate spelling, punctuation and grammar count for more marks in longer written answers in all subjects and can affect a student’s final grade significantly.
