Health and Safety
The Wavell School is committed to ensuring the health and safety and welfare of all its visitors. We ask for your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe environment throughout the school.
Access
On arrival, please ensure you sign in at reception and that you wear your visitor's badge at all times whilst on the premises. If you have reduced mobility or require special assistance, please inform reception staff.
Mobility and Wheelchair Access:
Please note that pedestrian access to the School site is restricted at certain times during the day. If you require access via the pedestrian gates please contact the School in advance in order that the gates may be opened for easy access to the site.
Fire Emergency
The fire alarm is a continuous siren. On hearing it you must leave the building by the nearest and safest exit and report to the playground at the rear of the school. You should report to the fire marshal at the assembly point and obey any instructions issued.
- Do not re-enter the building until you are told you may do so.
- Do not try to go to your car and leave the premises as this may hamper
the access of the emergency services.
First Aid
First Aid cover is provided by trained staff and can be accessed via the reception staff.All accidents/dangerous occurrences must be reported to reception.
Please note that Wavell School is a no smoking site. The use or charging of electronic cigarettes on site is not permitted.
No dogs are permitted on the site at any time.
