Aim of the Photography Curriculum:
Photography empowers students to tell their story, develop creativity, and build skills for the future
The Photography curriculum empowers students to express ideas through visual storytelling while building the technical and critical skills to navigate an image-driven world. Students learn to communicate, analyse, and question images, gaining practical skills in cameras, lighting, and editing software. They explore photographers, movements, and traditions to understand how images shape culture and history, while developing independence, resilience, and problem-solving. The curriculum fosters confidence and a strong creative voice, equipping students with transferable skills for creative industries and life beyond the classroom.
