Year 7 Literature Homework Projects

by 7q/EnTW

Yet again our amazing English teachers gave us another spectacular piece of homework which we triumphantly completed! Our project was based on adult literature and authors. We were given a list of options, including creating a poster or PowerPoint and we could even make a cake or a film!

This project was really fun!
We did Shakespeare, Dickens, Dahl and more.
We worked for hours until we were done.
We presented to the class, everyone saw.
The cakes were yummy
The posters were great
The PowerPoints we watched in awe
For the cakes we didn’t even need to ask Mr. Bates
The project was based on amazing English Literature
We all wrote loads and loads!
The movies, the cakes, the posters
And all the projects we confidently showed.

Some examples of our work :

Tuscan's poster about William Shakespeare's Plays  ‘A Street Cat Named Bob’ by James Bowen presented by Abby

Ellie focused her project on the classic book ‘Jane Eyre’ by Charlotte Brontë. She wrote about what the book was about, who her favourite characters were and what her favourite scene was. The presentation was displayed on a poster.

Caitlin decided to focus her project on Rudyard Kipling. She based her project on his childhood, education and his books. She presented this work in the form of a poster, and it even had an origami flower on it.

Olivia based her presentation on Shakespeare’s life. The things she included were a timeline, his play booklets and a PowerPoint. It was neat and well-presented.

Ben based his project on Romeo and Juliet. He made a very delicious cake and presented a poster about Shakespeare’s life.

Ben really enjoyed making his Romeo and Juliet cake!

We really enjoyed making and presenting our projects and are all looking forward to projects in the future.
