We Care to Challenge

Annual Charity Run

We are delighted to be able to report that the combined efforts of our Santas, reindeer, and elves raised a phenomenal £4643.72 for Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care on the last day of the Autumn Term 2017.

Our Year 7-9 students walked, ran, jumped and skipped around the course sporting their bright and colourful Christmas plumage to brighten up a very grey and dreary day. Their energy and selfless efforts combined to raise an amazing total, which will go towards supporting the valuable work of this wonderful local charity.

This is the third time that we have supported the annual Reindeer Run on behalf of Phyllis Tuckwell, and the generosity of our students – both financially and in time & effort – are hugely appreciated by the hospice staff. It is fantastic to see so many of our students getting involved in the activity, and raising so much money for such a deserving cause.

If you would like to support the charity in future events, then please see their website ( to see how you can get involved. Jake (Year 9) did exactly that, and completed the Aldershot ‘Grim Challenge’ in November, raising a hugely impressive £80 along with his mother as part of a team who combined to raise over £570.
