The Drop In @Wavell

In January 2015 we moved into the former caretaker’s bungalow which had been completely renovated and altered to provide a fantastic standalone building.

Drop-in

The Drop In bungalow has many advantages but most importantly it allows access to all, including, disabled access. We now have 2 counselling rooms, a meeting room and a large kitchen/ central drop in room which is the hub of the Drop In. Outside there is a large secure garden.

The Drop In is run by the Pastoral Mentor and Student Support, who offer 1-1 pastoral support to students, giving them an opportunity to talk about any worries or concerns they may have.

The Drop In

Breakfast @ The Drop In Tuesday and Thursday mornings 7.30 – 8.20 a.m. This session is open to all students and is a place where they can meet friends and chill out before school. There is an option of buying breakfast at the cost of 50p for toast/cereal and a hot drink.

The Military Drop In Wednesday Lunchtime

Held on a Wednesday lunchtime this session is for students from Military families only and is an opportunity for them to meet and socialise with other young people from similar backgrounds. It also provides a place to chat about any issues or worries especially during periods of deployment. We provide free toast and a drink at this session but students can bring their own lunch with them to eat in the Drop In.
